Plague Inc. turns the usual role on its head: you are invited to play as a disease, and humanity here is the opponent that must be outsmarted. You start with a zero patient in a chosen country and invest mutation points in three branches: transmission methods, symptoms, and resistance to climate and medicines. The key idea of the game is almost cynical — a noticeable disease loses. If you immediately crank up the lethality, carriers will die before they spread the infection, and the world will close its borders; the winning strategy is where the pathogen pretends to be a harmless cold for a long time, and deadly symptoms kick in when the entire planet is infected. A laboratory works against you with a vaccine progress bar, and the map lives its own life: ports close, quarantine is introduced. A separate legend is Greenland, which closes its only port and has remained a nightmare for players for years. All of this is packaged in an interface readable from a phone.
