US tech giants have accumulated debts

- US tech giants have accumulated debts of $1.65 trillion
- Debts are not fully reflected in the reports
- Meta has $420 billion in off-balance-sheet debt
The five American industry leaders, including Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Oracle, have accumulated $1.65 trillion in debt.
Only $1.35 trillion of this amount is openly displayed in financial statements.
Debts are not fully reflected in accounting reports, as borrowing costs for yet-to-be-realized projects are not shown on companies' balance sheets.
In the case of Meta, the amount of such off-balance-sheet debt is particularly noticeable — $420 billion, according to available estimates.
Oracle has managed to increase its hidden debts more than 30 times to $273 billion over four years.
