GTA 6: Overview of radio stations, DJs, and music before release

GTA 6: Overview of radio stations and music

Rockstar Games has announced new radio stations and songs that will be available in the upcoming game GTA 6. Some of these radio stations can be listened to on the developer's official website. According to Rockstar, GTA 6 will feature the largest and most diverse selection of in-game radio stations in the series' history. This includes both contemporary hits and classic tracks, promising to satisfy the tastes of a wide audience of players.

Among the confirmed radio stations, Cocoteo FM stands out, featuring modern Latin music. The hosts are El Martillo, voiced by Bad Bunny, and La Gata, voiced by Rinao. The station will broadcast genres such as bachata, merengue, and reggaeton, highlighting the diversity of musical content in the game.

Another interesting radio station is Back Country Radio, where country music is played. The characters MW and Delta Dawne are voiced by Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey. Among the announced songs are Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behavior by David Allan Coe, Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ by Loretta Lynn, and The Conversation by Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings.

New radio stations and their features

On AfroBank FM, hosted by Burna, voiced by Burna Boy, and Palmsy, voiced by Palms Trax, African music will be featured, including genres such as amapiano and 3-step. This underscores Rockstar's global approach to creating musical content that will be available to players in GTA 6.

Among other radio stations, The Chamber 106.6 can be noted for its classic metal, as well as Flash FM, known for its pop music. These stations promise a variety of musical styles, making the gameplay more engaging and rich.

Rockstar has also confirmed that in GTA 6, players will be able to listen to podcasts and radio stations on the go, using headphones and a smartphone. This innovation, which fans have dreamed of for a long time, will allow them to enjoy music even outside of vehicles, significantly expanding the interaction possibilities with the game world.

Famous DJs and artists

In addition, Rockstar announced an album of original music created specifically for GTA 6. It will include tracks from artists such as Travis Scott and Keith Richards. The full list of songs has not yet been revealed. IGN allows for the possibility of new details before the release, however, there is no confirmed date for the publication of the entire tracklist in the article.

IGN reports that the announcement came a few hours after a leak of 25 minutes of gameplay. At the time of publishing the original article, Rockstar had not yet responded to the leak. The suggestion that the musical announcement is related to a desire to shift players' attention belongs to the author of IGN and is not a statement from the company.

GTA 6 is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 platforms. This long-awaited continuation of the series has many fans eagerly anticipating the chance to dive into a new world full of adventures and musical discoveries.

Features and capabilities of the game

For fans of Southern hip-hop, there is Dirty South Classics. It is hosted by characters Trick and Trina, voiced by Trick Daddy and Trina. The published selection includes Like A Pimp by David Banner featuring Lil’ Flip, Who Dat by JT Money featuring Solé, and Born N Raised by DJ Khaled with Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, and Pitbull.

However, the question remains whether Rockstar will reveal the full tracklist before release. This could affect players' expectations and their interest in the game. In any case, it can already be said that the musical accompaniment will be one of the key features of GTA 6.

The published selection of radio stations and songs is just a part of the musical content of the game. Therefore, the listed artists do not make up the final tracklist. The date November 19, 2026, and the platforms PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are indicated on the official GTA VI page.
