Sony VAIO Signature Collection — laptops for the holiday

Laptops purchased as holiday gifts can and should differ from their everyday counterparts. This obvious conclusion was reached by the company Sony, resulting in the creation of the VAIO Holiday 2010 Signature Collection series.

The list of gift options includes an eight-inch VAIO P model in a crocodile leather case in pink or black, which will cost the buyer $1000. The configuration of the miniature mobile 'crocodile' includes an Atom Z540 processor (1.87 GHz, FSB 533 MHz), 2 GB of DDR2-533 MHz RAM, a 128 GB SSD, Fast Ethernet adapters, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. The screen resolution is 1600 x 768 pixels. The dimensions of the product are approximately 24 x 12 x 2 cm, and the weight (with the standard battery, which lasts for five hours of operation) does not exceed 600 g. The operating system used is 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium.

In the case of the 14-inch models of the VAIO EA series, the choice is made in favor of a relief eastern ornament on a black or golden surface of the case ($970). By the way, we have already mentioned this finishing option in an article dedicated to the Sony VAIO VPCEA290X Signature Edition model.
