Publisher SEGA, together with developer Two Point Studios, announced a major expansion Rides & Relics for the humorous simulator Two Point Museum. The release date is set for October 8, 2026, and the platforms will be PC (Steam), Xbox Series consoles, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
What new things does the DLC bring?
The main idea of the expansion is to combine museum exhibits with amusement parks. Players will have the opportunity to build their own park, integrate it into museum areas, and manage both exhibits and attractions.
Rides & Relics includes a new five-star campaign, a separate expedition map, and a unique museum 'Shatucci Gardens'. A new type of specialist, the fair expert, will be introduced to service the new facilities.
The developers promise more than 17 new exhibits, including vintage carousels, interactive attractions, and other artifacts from the entertainment era. Additionally, the game will feature new merchandise for souvenir shops, themed decor items, a helipad, a ticket office, benches, trash cans, and other details that allow for tasteful territory design.
Research and construction
Players will be able to venture into the abandoned park 'Yedryona Shestyona', where they will need to search for blueprints and modules for future attractions. The materials found can be applied in the new branch 'Gardens of Shatucci', which the developers call 'razvlezeem'.
Special attention in the DLC is given to roller coasters. They can be designed from scratch, setting height, slope, number of turns, and other parameters. The built coasters will be integrated into existing categories of museum exhibits, expanding their theme.
In addition to construction, players will be responsible for maintaining the attractions: monitoring their technical condition, entertaining visitors, and completing daily tasks. Successful work will be rewarded, and the main goal is to collect lifetime certificates for roller coasters and other attractions, as well as additional modules.
All text elements of the expansion will be available in several languages, making Rides & Relics accessible to a wide audience. The new content is expected to add an extra layer of strategy and creativity to the game, allowing players to combine historical exhibits with the dynamics of an amusement park.
