Early access buyer
A user with the nickname Malteser123_ posted photos of the PlayStation 5 version box in the Reddit community, claiming that he was able to pick up his order from a major European retailer a week before the scheduled September 3. According to him, the game was purchased for 60 euros, and the store offered to arrange a pickup, bypassing regular delivery.
The photos show the signature design of the edition, as well as the price in euros. The user noted that he shares this material so that other gamers can appreciate the appearance of the physical version while official details are still kept secret.
Developers' Response
The official account of the Rebel Wolves studio on Reddit responded to the post, asking the owner to install the latest update and apply the day one patch that ensures stable performance at 60 frames per second. Studio representatives also requested to refrain from posting screenshots, video materials, and any information about the content to avoid spoiling the experience for those who are still waiting for the official launch.
The developers emphasized that the game will be available on personal computers as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. On digital platforms Steam, GOG, and Microsoft Store, the price starts at 4,999 rubles.
The planned release is scheduled for September 3, and the first reviews from Western publications are expected to appear on August 31 at 18:00 Moscow time, allowing players to form an opinion about the project in advance.
The creator of the Rebel Wolves studio is Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who previously held the position of director on The Witcher 3, while his younger brother, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, known for his work on quests in Cyberpunk 2077, serves as the creative director.
Interest in The Blood of Dawnwalker has increased after the announcement, as the project promises to combine a deep storyline, an open world, and a dynamic combat system, as well as support 60 frames per second from the very first day of the game.
While the game is in the final stages of preparation, the studio urges future players to wait for the official release and share their first impressions after launch.
