Control Resonant will receive 'New Game ++' and photo mode in post-release updates

- Control Resonant will receive the 'New Game ++' mode in October
- The photo mode will appear in the November update
- New cosmetic items and a Twitch outfit will be added
- The game is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series with Russian subtitles
Control Resonant, the fresh project from Remedy studio, is now available to players on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game supports the Russian language and subtitles, making it accessible to a wide audience. After the release, the developers announced plans to release several significant updates.
"New Game ++" — removal of NG+ restriction
In the current version of Control Resonant, there is a 'New Game +' mode that allows you to start the game over only once while retaining some progress. Remedy promises to expand this feature by introducing a 'New Game ++' mode, scheduled for release in October. According to the team, the new mode will allow players to launch NG+ consecutively without deleting saves, which, they say, will give players the opportunity to make '665 runs in a row' and more.
Photo mode in the November patch
The second major new feature is the photo mode, which will be implemented in the game as part of an update expected in November. The developers emphasized that to create a convenient tool, they consulted with professional virtual photographers to ensure a wide range of features. The photo mode was not included in the release version, as the team focused on refining the core gameplay mechanics.
In addition to technical improvements, Remedy plans to expand the customization of the main character Dylan. More cosmetic items will be added to the game, and existing unique outfits can be found during world exploration. Furthermore, the studio reminded that an exclusive outfit can be obtained by watching Control Resonant streams on Twitch.
Post-release patches have become common practice in the industry: they allow developers to refine the product based on player feedback and add desired content without delays associated with the release of a full version. For Remedy, such updates are important as they maintain interest in the game and allow for expanding its capabilities even after release.
In summary, Control Resonant owners can expect two significant improvements in the coming months: the infinite NG+ mode, which will open new possibilities for replaying, and a photo mode that allows capturing the visual details of the game. Both updates are planned for release in October-November, and additional cosmetic items and exclusive outfits are already available through official channels.
