Midfielder of Moscow's CSKA Danil Krugovoy was named the best player of the match in the 1st round of the Alfa-Bank Russian Premier League season 2026/2027 against Kaliningrad's Baltika (2:1).

Krugovoy started on the field and played all 90 minutes. The midfielder provided the assist for the winning goal by forward Kirill Glebov.

In the next match, the army team will play at home against Samara's Krylia Sovetov on August 1. Baltika will face Moscow's Dynamo on the same day at their home ground.

Last season, CSKA finished in fifth place in the league table. The army team had 51 points in 30 rounds. Baltika was in sixth place in the final table of the 2025/2026 season, with 46 points.
