The studio Rebel Wolves, founded by leading developers of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, announced a significant milestone in the production of their vampire role-playing game The Blood of Dawnwalker.
The game has gone gold, which means the main part of development is complete and the master disk with the final version is sent for printing and uploading to digital stores.
The events of The Blood of Dawnwalker will unfold in the 14th century in a forgotten corner of the Carpathian Mountains. Players will take on the role of the half-vampire Cohen, who must save his family from the clutches of the vampire Brensys.
The game promises a non-linear storyline, gray morality, graphics on Unreal Engine 5, and no microtransactions. The Blood of Dawnwalker will also be available in Russian.
The game is expected to be released on September 3 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The studio Rebel Wolves is led by former director of The Witcher 3 Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, and the creative director is his younger brother, quest director of Cyberpunk 2077 Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz.
