DS Proxima increases the efficiency of uNGFW, uWAF, and uSWG

During the joint online event with partner UserGate, experts discussed the operation of the DS Proxima load balancer. The technology is designed to distribute incoming traffic among multiple instances of protection systems, allowing for a more even utilization of server resources.
Applying DS Proxima to uNGFW (universal Next-Generation Firewall), uWAF (universal Web Application Firewall), and uSWG (universal Secure Web Gateway) solutions ensures increased throughput and reduced latency. According to the speakers, test scenarios showed an increase in average request processing speed of up to 30% while maintaining security levels.
In addition to increasing performance, the load balancer enhances the fault tolerance of the infrastructure. When a single node fails, traffic is automatically redirected to the working instances, minimizing service downtime and maintaining availability for end users.
Webinar participants received practical recommendations for integrating DS Proxima into existing networks, as well as answers to questions about configuring load balancing policies and monitoring the status of components.
