Changes from July 1

- New rules for topping up bank cards
- Changes in the payment system for military personnel
- Gasoline with alcohol at gas stations
In July, changes to the rules of banking operations, fuel sales, international parcels, and social payments will come into effect in Ukraine.
Starting June 26, the rules for topping up bank cards in Ukraine are changing. Now, when topping up a bank card with cash through a self-service terminal, you will need to enter your phone number and confirm the operation with a one-time code from an SMS or call.
In fact, the new payment system for military personnel started on June 1, but the first payments under it will come in July. All military personnel have been given a rear allowance of 10,000 UAH per month.
Starting July 1, all Ukrainian gas stations must offer gasoline that meets the E10 standard – with the addition of bioethanol in the range of 7% to 10%.
For most cars produced after the 2000s, the transition will go smoothly; however, owners of older cars are advised to check compatibility with the manufacturer or service center in advance.
