Acer introduced an affordable laptop Aspire Go 15 with Snapdragon C processor

- Acer launches the Aspire Go 15 with a Snapdragon C processor.
- The laptop has a 15.6-inch Full HD display, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB SSD.
- Available in the UK from September 1 starting at £499.99 as an alternative to the MacBook Neo.
At the Computex 2026 exhibition, Acer presented its latest model – the Aspire Go 15 AG15-Q31P laptop. This is the first in Acer's line of laptops equipped with the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon C processor, which combines central, graphics, and neural computing in one chip.
Technical Specifications
The device is equipped with a 15.6-inch display with a Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080) and an aspect ratio of 16:9, providing comfortable work with documents and multimedia viewing. The RAM is 8 GB, and the built-in SSD storage is 128 GB, which is sufficient for basic tasks and storing educational materials.
The Snapdragon C processor includes a Qualcomm Adreno graphics block and an initial neural processing unit (NPU), allowing for basic AI operations without the need for a separate processor. This makes the laptop appealing to users who need machine learning features within a limited budget.
Power and connectivity
The 53 W·h battery provides all-day autonomy, and charging occurs via a USB Type-C port with a 65 W adapter. Among the ports are two fully functional USB-C, one USB-A, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 ensures fast and stable wireless connections.
For video conferencing, the laptop is equipped with a Full HD webcam and two stereo speakers, while the full-size keyboard with a numeric pad makes it convenient for working with spreadsheets and accounting.
Software and positioning
Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, making it easier for users accustomed to the Microsoft ecosystem to transition. According to Acer, the Aspire Go 15 is aimed at students, freelancers, and home offices, offering a combination of price and performance comparable to the latest MacBook Neo, but at a more affordable cost.
In the UK, the model will go on sale on September 1, with a starting price of £499.99. This makes it one of the cheapest laptops with an ARM processor available on the market and could signal a rise in competition in the budget laptop segment based on Qualcomm.
