Ukraine returned 160 fighters

- 160 Ukrainian fighters have returned home.
- They had been in captivity since 2022.
- This is the 76th prisoner exchange.
As a result of a new exchange with the aggressor state, Ukraine has returned 160 of its citizens from Russian captivity.
President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that among those released today are servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service, the National Guard, and border guards.
All of them had been in captivity since 2022 and defended Ukraine in Mariupol and at 'Azovstal', in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy directions.
The Coordination Headquarters notes that this is already the 76th prisoner exchange and it is combined.
All released individuals will undergo medical examinations, receive necessary treatment, monetary payments, documents, and will go for rehabilitation to reintegrate into society after prolonged isolation in Russian captivity.
