Limited Sunset (2011)

A chamber drama based on Cormac McCarthy's play: a believing former convict pulls a stranger-professor off the subway tracks, brings him to his apartment, and spends the entire film trying to convince him not to kill himself. The entire action is one conversation between two people within four walls, where faith, meaning, and despair are at stake. Tommy Lee Jones directed the film and starred alongside Samuel L. Jackson — an actor's duel in its purest form.
