Sergiy Dolya writes: Today I will tell you about how huge airliners are built and show examples of cabins from different airlines… (30 photos)

Here, parts of the fuselage begin to be assembled into one whole.

The three-deck structure of the liner is clearly visible in the cross-section.

And this is place L71. The fuselage is clamped in huge vises and lifted. Here, the wings and landing gear are attached to it.

Next, the airplane is transported to one of the positions L50-L55. In the hangar, 3 airplanes fit in a row.

Pay attention to the system of stairs leading to the wing.

After assembly is completed, the airplanes are taken outside, where they are prepared for the first flight.

At the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France, there is a model of the A380, with various cabin options from budget to luxury.

Economy class options are located on the first floor.

The airplane has several rooms for crew rest. They are hidden on the lower deck level, and you need to descend into them via a narrow staircase.

The A380 can stay in the air for up to 15 hours. It is clear that neither the pilots nor the crew can work that long without rest, so there are usually 2 shifts on board: one sleeps below, the other works. Their conditions are more comfortable than those of the passengers, although they resemble a submarine.

Kitchen.

Several options for business class were presented at the factory. Simple ones...

Average ones...

And advanced ones.

Here, the seats already recline into a horizontal bed, although Mikhail Dmitrievich Prokhorov would hardly fit on it.

A bar with a bartender is provided for business class. I remember when we flew on the A380, the bartender was a very cheerful character, and we spent most of the flight at the bar.

Upon entering first class, the cozy sofas immediately catch the eye.

The lovely Anna from S7 Airlines and the editor-in-chief of the most authoritative aviation portal in Russia, Aviatransport Review, Alexey Sinitsky.

A shower room is provided for the first class. It is serviced by 2 separate flight attendants who take care of it exclusively. The shower must be booked half an hour in advance, and the water is turned on for 5 minutes.

General view of the first class cabin. It is designed for only 6 people.

First class passengers have individual compartments.

Top view.

Each compartment has several options for individual lighting.

Lunch serving option. Here, you definitely won't have to elbow your neighbor.

And the last photo: the beauties from S7 are snuggling up to the A380 and dreaming of the day they will receive their first salad-colored aircraft.
